About Us
Lake Area Shoppe Girls was formed in February of 2009 to provide resources, support, and connections for women entrepreneurs. It is our mission to provide economic independence and entrepreneurial access to any women with the dream or aspiration to start a business or to make a current business more successful. We believe in being passionate about our businesses and in delivering unique, quality-driven products or services. We believe that together, we can make a difference in each other lives…and in the success of each of our individual businesses. The group was created for women to have social and business interaction, to have a sounding board to express concerns and announce triumphs, and to work together to promote each others businesses. Collectively, our members represent many different phases of industry, such as a furniture store, kids clothing store, photographer, catering company, jewelry maker, private investigator, day spa, medical spa, women's clothing store, hair salons, web designer, and much more.
The goal of Shoppe Girls is to provide an environment for a forward-thinking group of members to work together in creative new ways to deal with the challenges that face small businesses today.
